Thrift For Good

As a volunteer at Thrift for Good, a charity store located in Palm Jumeirah, I helped sort, tag, and shelve donated second-hand clothing, preparing items for resale in the store.

This work plays an important role in promoting sustainability, as it extends the life of clothing and reduces textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. By encouraging reuse and conscious consumption, Thrift for Good helps lower the environmental impact of fast fashion, including reducing carbon emissions, water usage, and resource depletion associated with producing new garments.

In addition to its environmental benefits, all profits generated by the store are donated to charitable causes around the world, supporting communities in need and creating a positive social impact alongside its sustainability efforts.
