About This Project
Gift Of Sight Glasses Donation Initiative - Contributing to better vision and quality of life through the collection and donation of eyeglasses to those in need. This initiative helps reduce waste while providing essential vision care to underserved communities.
Project Details
I have partnered with the Shroff Charity Eye Hospital in India, for the Gift of Sight program, where I have already facilitated the donation of used eyewear to 60 underprivileged children, with a target of 500 for 2024 (expected to scale to 2000 over the course of the program). Testimonials from beneficiaries highlight significant improvements in their education and daily lives. This has also helped to reduced plastic pollution by repurposing old glasses and ensured new frames for those in need.
